BDO NI raise £9.5k for charity partner in first quarter of fundraising period

Together Everyone Achieves More and this was certainly the case on Sunday for #TeamBDO!

22 Team BDO members and their families took on the Red Dress Fun Run 2022 at Stormont Estate on Sunday 27^th February all to raise money for their chosen charity partner, NI Chest Heart and Stroke. The team, and their canine mascots all walked/ran/jogged the 5k course and have raised over £600 for this challenge.

BDO NI’s CSR activity is a vital part of the organization as it not only supports important causes that improve people’s lives but also allows us, as a team, to come together and creatively deliver fundraising activities for a cause that is important to our staff.

Fundraising efforts for the charity to date over the last 3-4 months have also included the Belfast Castle Abseil and Director Pam Gillies’ 5k a day challenge during January 2022. These 3 events has meant that the combined fundraising total by the firm has reached over £9,500 - a record for the firm for their first few months of fundraising.
